Hello Ballarat tri club community! This is November edition of the monthly recap!! November’s been jam packed with races as the tri season has fully kicked off. To start off with Darcy Williams has been tearing up the track racing both Milers round 1 and Aths Vic 5km championships. Darcy ran a lightning 8:37 for 3k and followed it up the next week with a 14:37 for 5k. I also competed in milers and missed the sub 9min mark but happy to run 9:04. On the 22nd of November mem

WORLD TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025
Ballarat Triathlon Club Members have had success at the World Triathlon Championships in Wollongong BTC athletes made a significant impact among 5,000 competitors from over 70 countries competing in 3 World Championship races. The club's athletes showcased inspiring performances, securing one podium finish in the U23 elite mixed relay and a mixture of top 10, 20 and 50 performances. This significant event, which took place in Wollongong from October 14th-19th, saw BTC athlete

Hello Ballarat tri club community, here is the monthly news for October.To start off, over the past few weeks some club members have participated in BSCC Wednesday night crits, with Lachie Barratt taking 3rd place in division 2. Hello everyone! Here is the September edition of Ballarat Tri Club monthly recap! September has been a massive month for the club with the Ballarat duathlon along with lots of racing from club members. This month; - Craig Shepis competed in the Ironman world championships in Nice! Huge congrats! - In addition Lesley West was apart of the winning team in the Surf Coast Century Trail run. - Dean Watts competed in Western Sydney IM 70.3, and Bailey Tuddenham competed in IM 70.

VICTORIAN DUATHLON SERIES IN ALTONA
Five BTC athletes took on a sold-out Race 2 of the Victorian Duathlon Series in Altona yesterday with some great results in perfect racing conditions: Andrew Wood – 2nd 60-64 AG Molly Voss – 2nd in 30-34 AG Ross Clark – 4th in 65+ Adam Conway – 6th U19 Jude Channon – retired injured (but all okay) We're proud to be hosting the series finale right here in Ballarat this September. After two fantastic races at Sandown and Altona, the bar is high and we're ready to finish strong.

We’re excited to share that our very own Oscar Wootton has been recognised as the 2024/25 Junior Male Athlete of the Year at the Victorian Triathlon Awards A testament to his hard work and resilience Oscar has had a phenomenal season with races including an overall win at 2XU Brighton and top ten finishes at the 2024 Asia Triathlon Cup, the 2025 Oceania Triathlon Championships in Devonport, and the 2025 Oceania Super Sprint Championships Despite competing at the highest level

We're thrilled to share that Adam was recognised at the @victriathlon Awards, earning 2nd Male in the 14-15 Vic State Series 24/25. Adam is truly a rising star in triathlon. At just 14 years old, he also dominated the @2xutriathlonseries Fun Tri Distance (300m swim, 13km bike, 3km run) to be crowned age group series champion, showcasing extraordinary talent even as one of the youngest in his category. 2XU Triathlon Series Champion Male 14-15: Adam Conway At just 14 years old, Adam Conway has been crowned age group series champion in the Fun Tri Distance (300m swim, 13km bike, 3km run), showcasing extraordinary talent at the younger end of his age category.
