ADAM’S MONTHLY RECAP: AUGUST 2025 NEWS

Hi everyone, this is the August edition of the monthly news!

This month has been an awesome month of racing for club members.

Firstly, well done to Dean Watts, Jude Channon, Darryl Brown and Lousie Wood for running in the Golden 5k over the weekend of the national cross country. Awesome job on getting through such a muddy course! Spectacular job to Jude who following that race competed in the Colac cycling club road race later that day in her first ever road race!!! Jude may have not won but “learned so much”

Congratulations to Bailey Tuddenham for his pro debut in the airline beach triathlon (5th)! Also Jonas Gonzalez for his sprint triathlon over in Spain.

Olivia Marr ran the whole distance of the Arorangi (Cook islands) with a total distance of 30km!

Great job to Molly Voss who competed in a trail running race (Wildtails Canicross You Yangs) with her dog, Flick- great job Flick as well.

Fantastic job to Oscar Wootton who won the 5km race in the sunshine coast marathon festival with a blitzing time of 15:13!!

Good luck to Dean Watts in the upcoming Western Sydney 70.3 and Dale coutts in the Simpson Desert Bike Challenge. Also wishing everyone competing in the Ballarat duathlon later this month all the best.
