ADAM’S MONTHLY RECAP: JULY 2025 NEWS

We’re excited to kick off a new monthly club update, brought to you by one of our junior members, Adam! Each month, Adam will be putting together a recap of races, training highlights, and club news to help keep everyone in the loop.Adam’s monthly news:🎉The month of July has been massive for Ballarat Tri Club with outstanding club results, duathlons and our presentation night and AGM.🚵‍♂️Races🚵‍♂️Firstly, the club held the first off road duathlon for the season, with great weather and a great day out. Thanks to Bikes on La Trobe for spot prizes. Well done to everyone who got through a very hilly course.👏 Closely after, members Adam and Andrew raced at the Sandown duathlon, the first race in the Victorian duathlon series. Both came in the top 5 in their category, well done!🏁Then last week, 5 members raced at the Altona duathlon, the second race in the Victorian Series. Andrew Wood and Molly Voss both came 2nd in their age group, Ross Clarke finished 4th, Adam Conway came 6th and Jude Channon retired injured but all ok. Fantastic job everyone!!💪Last weekend the club held the second off road duathlon of the season. Despite the harsh weather, it was a great day and well done to everyone for competing!🏆Awards Night🏆Thank you to everyone who attended the presentation night and AGM. Well done to not only the people who received an award, but also the whole club for a successful season. Our club champions are - Male: Andrew Wood, Female: Louise Wood, Junior: Adam Conway.📅Upcoming events📅On Friday 26th September is the Ballarat duathlon, the 3rd race in the Tri Vic series and the state duathlon championship. We’d love as many Ballarat participants as possible. 🌟Other highlights🌟Congrats to juniors Logan Leonard, Chase Tuddenham and Adam Conway for making the Team VIC State Pathway Program for the upcoming season.🌏BTC had 6 members qualify for the triathlon world championship in Wollongong. Well done to Ross Clarke, Rod Kilbourn, Molly Voss, Andrew Wood, Louise Wood and Jonas Martin.📨In future, we hope to highlight all members' success.
