ADAM’S MONTHLY RECAP: SEPTEMBER 2025 NEWS

Hello everyone! Here is the September edition of Ballarat Tri Club monthly recap!

September has been a massive month for the club with the Ballarat duathlon along with lots of racing from club members. This month;

- Craig Shepis competed in the Ironman world championships in Nice! Huge congrats!

- In addition Lesley West was apart of the winning team in the Surf Coast Century Trail run.

- Dean Watts competed in Western Sydney IM 70.3, and Bailey Tuddenham competed in IM 70.3 Sunshine Coast.

- Dale Coutts took part in the Simpson Desert Bike challenge as well. Taking out 1st place.

Well done to everyone who has competed this month!! We look forward to hearing more fantastic results in the future.

In addition, this month BTC held the Ballarat Duathlon/State championship duathlon. Well done to all club members who competed.

Special shoutout to podium finishers for age group in the BTC results; Lesley West and Ross Clark (1st), Logan Leonard (2nd) and Lachie Barret and Lousie Wood (3rd)!

In the state championship results Lesley West, Lachie Barret, Ross Clark all came 1st! Logan Leonard and Lousie Wood came 2nd! And Chase Tuddenham came 3rd!

In addition Olivia Marr, Tony Dundas, Jude Channon, Marie-Camile Repecaud, Mark Urquart, Patrick Quigley also represented Ballarat Triathlon Club on the day so well done as well!

Massive thankyou to all volunteers for the duathlon, this event wouldn’t have been possible without you all.

Good luck to Andrew Wood, Lousie Wood, Oscar Wootton, Molly Voss, Rod Kilborne, who will be competing in the Triathlon World championships in Wollongong later this month.

Ballarat local professional triathlete Regan Hollioake is racing in the Ironman World Champs in Kona. We wish you all the best.

The author - Adam Conway, was also selected to travel with Sports Travel Australia to USA this month to run in California, Nevada and Arizona. He came: 1st place Music mountain XCR, 2nd place Twilight Vegas Elite XCR, 2nd place Thunderbird XC.

Caroline and Adam also represented BTC at the WestVic Showcase, hosted by Steve Moneghetti, with Adam interviewed on the athlete panel.
