Hi to all members,
The A.G.M. took place as scheduled. Although only a small number of members could attend, a successful meeting was held. The old committee resigned, and with some regret president Greg Williams said he would no longer be able to continue in that position.
The new committee was then voted in and welcomed some new blood; Belinda Smith as secretary and Gavin Webber, Andrew Young and Peter Walker will join Dave Sillekens, Greg Williams, Dave Huggett, Darren Pryor as treasurer and Michael Hart as president.
We all are looking forward to the upcoming year and are relying on all club members having their input in the progress of our club.
The next club meeting is on the 10th September starting at 7:30 pm, at the Black Hill hotel. Be there if you have something to offer - time, advice, suggestions - whatever !

"KING OF THE MOUNTAIN"
Last duathlon for the winter season. Sunday 21-09-08, 10.30 am start.

The last race for the winter season will be the King & Queen of the Mountain, Buninyong. Starting in the township of Buninyong, this race is not for the faint hearted ! It starts with 3km Run ( 2 x 1.5 km ) followed by a 20 km Bike (2 x 10 km ) finishes with a 1.5km run - all up, down & around Mt. Buninyong
Hope to see you all there - thats If you are up to the challenge ! Drinks, lunch & presentations at the Buninyong hotel straight after the race. All welcome - bring a friend.
