Events and Results
Throughout the year we run a number of events. These are fun inclusive events where you can learn and grow as a triathlete. These events are open to the general public, participants do not need to be a club or Aus Triathlon member.
We have multiple distances, and you can choose to do as a team or as an individual. As an individual you can even participate in only one or two of the disciplines.

LAKE ESMOND SERIES:
5 races over season
2 DISTANCES

Sovereign: 375m swim / 7km bike / 1.5km run

Eureka: 750m swim / 14km bike / 3km run
Location: Larter Street, Lake Esmond
More information available in event link below. Participants must be aged over 12 and young athletes 12 -17 will need to be pre approved before registering considering some safety precautions.

BALLARAT DUATHLON:
The Ballarat Triathlon Club is proud to announce the return of the Ballarat Duathlon on Friday 26 September 2025 (AFL Grand Final Eve public holiday) after several years, set to take place on closed roads at the picturesque Victoria Park.
The headline race, the Community Bank Buninyong Sprint Duathlon, has been awarded the 2025 Victorian Duathlon State Championship and also marks Race 1 of the Triathlon Victoria Regional Series, making it one of the most anticipated events on the Victorian multisport calendar.
Participants must be aged over 10.

WINTER DUATHLON SERIES:
We have relaunched the Ballarat Triathlon Club Winter duathlon series.
Race 1: 22nd June - Gravel & MTB off road duathlon
Race 2: 27th July - MTB off road duathlon
Participants must be aged over 12.

JUNIOR TRIATHLON:
This is a fun and inclusive event for juniors (9-17 years as at 1st Jan that year) to experience the thrill of triathlon in a supportive, safe environment. Swim is indoors at the Ballarat Aquatic Center.
