All you have to do is show up at one our races; check the web site for next race details.
Our races go all year round, with the winter months being duathlons, ( run, ride, run ) at various locations around Ballarat. During the summer months we race every Tuesday night at 6.00 pm alternating between duathlons at Victoria Park and aquathons at Lake Esmond.
The race distances are 1.3 km run, 6km bike, 1.3km run, 6km bike, 1.3km run for our duathlons, and 400 meter swim, 1.5km run, 400 meter swim, 1.5km run for our Aquathons. All races have a short course race which is half the main event and most races are handicapped so as to suit all levels of triathletes.
Also this year we will run several triathlons on a Sunday ( dates and locations to be advised ).
The cost per race is $10.00 for casual competitors or $5.00 if you are a Club member; Juniors under 20, $2.50. To be a club member costs just $35.00 or $12.00 for Juniors.
2009 club membership forms should be out soon. Your first race is free so there is no reason for you not to come and have a go.
